Preparing your cv

Financial Worker

Your first opportunity to make that all important first impression count. Your C.V. is essentially your sales tool. It is, in effect, your entry into the job race, do not make the mistake of thinking a C.V. is a mere formality, on the contrary it is your personal sales portfolio, so it's worth taking some time to perfect it.

The importance of a C.V.

The primary purpose of a C.V. is to get you an interview, it will increase your prospects of getting the job you want. You should have one prepared in advance, in order to respond immediately to a given request.

It should contain just enough information to show your suitability when you respond to a position via a search engine or recruitment agency. It is unusual for a recruitment professional to act on your behalf without a C.V. It also serves as a memory jogger to both prospective employers, recruitment consultancies and ultimately yourself.
